Briddlesford Lodge Farm Shop
We source the best Local Produce from across the Isle of Wight

Louise Griffin, great grandaughter of Charles Griffin manages Briddlesford Lodge farm shop.
The farm shop is located in what used to be the milking stable until 1996.
The character of the building has been maintained but now the stalls where the cows once stood to be milked are piled high with delicious Isle of Wight produce.
Fresh fruit and vegetables, pickles and preserves, Isle of Wight cheese, which is now made with Briddlesford milk, and other dairy products including our very own ‘Buttercup Milk’ are just a few of the items.

‘Buttercup Milk’ is available unpasteurised (straight from the cow!), or pasteurised as whole milk, semi-skimmed or skimmed. Our cream is on sale and when we have surplus cream we churn it to make ‘The Briddlesford Guernseys Butter’.

The shop now sources quality food from over 50 Isle of Wight producers and is developing a reputation as a real alternative to the supermarket for many discerning customers.

Bobby Buchanan, who has worked in farm shop since it opened is now managing the butchery side supported by butcher Paul Whitewood. He has his cutting room at the back of the shop and a fantastic selection of meats on display.
At his counter you can watch a craftsman at work as he cuts the joint of your choice while you wait.
Isle of Wight meats are a speciality, including our own Briddlesford veal, born and reared on our farm to the highest possible welfare standards, happily living in a straw bedded barn, where they have been fed by their mother twice a day.
